I know seem weldind is essential but do i need to buy the engine bay strengthening kit for my 2ltr conversion? :?

yep. i wud, for ?80 the tailoured pieces just need welding into place; so whilst welding the eng. bay, jus weld them plates in too; all helps. Rally proven. lol. harry hockley's ur man.
