insurance quote game

As i'm coming upto 30 now i thought i'd play the insurance quote game to see how much certain cars would cost to insure for a year if i had the money to buy them. I set out by putting myself and the wife on the quotes so it would be worst case scenario.....

evo 8 fq300 2004 = 500 quid a year FC
new shape audi a3 quattro all singing all dancing 2004 = 334 a year FC

both based on a value of 20k. i tried a few others in this league and they all seem to be the same, quotes done through elephant.

kinda shocked at how low they are but opens up alot more doors for a third car :D (just not 20k's worth lol :lol: )

saying that i got quotes for a ?25K lexarse, or saab. and they came out to ?500 FC.... i think newer cars cost less to insure for some right bizzaaarrrr reason lol

but modern cars are cheap as chips to insure due to decent security and increased passenger protection which can limit personal injury claims....

would it matter lol, she has new astra, nova would/is already toy car to be fair thus the 'third car' for toodling in.

wheni turned 23 i did the same, my fave car, 1990 porsche 911 turbo, ?1100, just need to find the ?20K+ to buy one
