Is it ok to run a mini fridge off of say, the boot light?

Or shud i extend the cable so it reaches the ciggy lighter?

Hi, I hope i can Help, but first can you answer the following questions.

1: if the fridge is 12V try to determine what current it pulls

2: will you want the fridge always on, even when not using the car

The boot light should have a fuse loated in the fuse box within the car so if you ws to attach it to the bot light you could blow the fuse as the boot light should be a 5Watt or 10 Watt bulb.

I think the best way would be to run a wire direct from the battery, this should then not affect any electronics within the car and allow you to add more thigs as time goes oni i am currently design a lighting system within my nova and will being running a wire from the battery and putting a inline fuse.

yer make shure it runs of 12 volt. and the boot light only comes on when you open the boot so it wont be cold 4 long unless you drive with your boot open... dont c the point rrl...
