Well this is a standard susspension top mount as seen holding the susspension to the strut/turret..

http://img386.imageshack.us/img386/677/valverconvertion180small8it.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

The adjustabel mount is used mainly on coilovers(thou i have hurd of some adapting to use on normal susspension) it mounts undernieth the strut/turret and can be adjusted using the very of mount hole possitions. They help to corret camber(why i want them)and set the shock in position as you like for the type of driving your doing,Rally/track etc.but also stiffen up the ride and handleing etc.

This is the set i bought.

The rasid part on the mount goes through your turret and bolts the shock through the main bearing, the small holes on the outer side are for the fixing to the turret and adjustment.

..do they make much of a difference?
..are they easy to fit and adjust?
..for normal road use/odd santa pod visit will they be any use?

id say only any real use if youve either lowered your car more than 40mm and getting gash wear on the inner edge of the tyre OR you do track days/drive like a track minded mofo on the roads...

if its just for day to day use and straight line races (pod) then imho its not worth it....
