hi lads,

whats the best Nova 8v head I should get the heavily ported, big valve treatment done too?

got a 1.6 GTE head already so hoping that that would be a good option?

understand that the 1400 SR head's for example would be one of the worst options to choose yeah?

as i understand it would either be the 1.2 or the 1.4 mpi one

id go for the 1.4mpi as it has bigger valves to beggin with

Yeah, the c14se head would be the best.
Especially if on t40s.

I think it was benji that got about 7 more bhp from just fitting the mpi head instead of a 1400sr one.

erm the 1600 head would be best ;)


i did find a 1600 head at the farm with no egr stuff which was a bit odd...

i assume you sold your nelson head....

the head that youve got is best.

with the big valve spec we talked about your looking at 84cfm or so.. thats a huge gain from a 58cfm 1300 nova one.

My 1300s are extremely similiar to Nelson ones.. my 1600s a little different

the head I've got is a GTE one.
