i found something out last nite from one of my mates who has a mate at work????

this friend had a scooter for 3 years from being 16 recently passed his car test, went and bought a brand new 206 1.4 i think and got a quote of ?1100 fully comp for the year!! WHY because the insurance company carried his no claims from a scooter straight to his car annoying a little bit but well worth knowing just think how cheap insurance would be on lets say a nova after 3 years no claims!!!

probably nothing to do with the original question just though id mention it though

Scooter/Bike insurance is cheaper because, although you may be more likely to have an accident, theoritcally you can't do as much damage on a bike compared to totalling a car...
