Really looking forward to it (bar the swelling lol). Also considering getting my nipple pierced, but which side is the 'gay' side?? :lol: I want to avoid that side, didn't mean to get your hopes up Jack and Denny :o :lol:

As for which side is the GAY side. I don't think it matters. I know there used to be a side for ear-rings but to be honest I think thats all gone out the window now. Get your favorate nipple done :P

^^I think they're the best kind of ear rings tbh, that's what i'd have in my nipple and they can look good through your eyebrow (although possibly abit chavvy).

Yeah I like that style of earing. Mine are 2.4mm which is a nice size. A bit chunky but not to OTT.
After a little look on the net using googles image search. It looks like the left one is the one to go for.

Denny, did it hurt getting your tongue pierced? Because afew people have said it doesn't hurt atall, but i find it hard to believe that a big bastard needle going through your tongue wouldn't hurt lol

My pain threshold's pretty good tbh, i've had afew op's (skin graft's) on my right arm so i got pretty good at dealing with pain. At the end of the day, pain is just a feeling that your brain tells you it doesn't like-if you think of it like that it just becomes a pointless feeling, like having an itch.

i said this aswell. except when you have it done, they spray local anaesthetic onto your tongue, so you don't feel it. i didnt even realise i'd had mine done, until he moved and i tried to talk. my tongue was hanging out of my mouth and i had to physically put it back in :P i couldnt swallow for half an hour and had to carry a cup around with me :oops:
but after that, depending on the person;
*tongue swells a little not really noticeable until you go back for the shorter bar and realise how BIG the first bar was!
*food is harder to eat, but just chop it tiny
*speech is somewhat different, lol but it evens out after few days
i find i talk slightly different now with it out, hate being without it. eating ice-cream is still funny too, leaves a long mark in it.
get corsodyl mouthwash and lots of ibuprofen (or your normal painkiller) take a few for the first day or two because it reduces swelling too if its an anti-inflammatory :wink: :wink:

p.s. men like it on girls, girls like it on men. but i have mine done so I'm biased anyway

Nipple is meant to be the sorest (sp?) peircing to get done... did have my eyebrow done but it got ripped out. So no more eyebrow peircing for me :cry:

Long story... Friends dad got in a fight i got involved when i should of stayed clear (bit too much vodka's and redbull)... And this guy called gary twisted it and pulled it... so it just ripped the skin thats why on my eyebrow the hair doesnt grow properrly.... Bit stupid but oh well might get it done again :P

As i'm still havin trouble gettin pics from my mob to my pc, anyone like to put them up for me if i send them via mms?? Just had something to eat-very odd :? I was getting confused between the lentils in my soup and the ball lol

Tongue's been swollen as feck today and my throat and glands hurt.
I've been told thats because i'm not eating like i usually do (a lot lol) so the bacteria builds up on your throat and stuff :(
But definately worth doing, would recommend it! :lol:

yes a plastic white barbell-he said that it would heal quicker than with a metal one. Surely you cant die instantly?! I mean it might bleed a lot, but surely not kill you?? :o :lol:
Did your throat get quite sore after having it done? Mine is (its a lot worse in the morning) and this guy told me it was due to bacteria building up because you dont eat how you normally would eat-not sure how true that is because i've been eating fairly normally tbh. I managed chips and pizza yesterday :D It took me almost an hour though lol
How long did it take for the swelling to go down with you? Mine's still pretty swollen :(
the way i was told, anything can happen. feel weird, cant eat, talk weird. you can guarantee after a week to two weeks, every possible thing would be normal and you'll feel like you've had it done years. if you have been rinsing with listerine after every meal, i cant see that you'd have an infection.
but did they tell you these things:
no kissing (with tongues)
no coke!
no spicy foods!
no oral sex (lol)
no smoking
because they all cause aggravation to the piercing?
i dont remember mine being very swollen tbh, only when i had the bar changed did i see the difference. but i had that changed after 7 days. i've never seen anyone having it pierced with a plastic ball, is the barbell(stick thing) plastic aswell? id have thought having plastic, accidentally biting it would leave a dint and stuff could get in there?? possibly.
