IM TRYING TO FIT MY TWIN CARBS TO MY 1.4 8V ENGINE. ALL IS CONNECTED TO THE MANIFOLD AND HAVE MOVED THE ALTERNATOR LOWER WITH THE BRACKET..

WHAT PIPES CONNECT TO IT?? DOES ANYONE HAVE A FITTING GUIDE OR DIAGRAM??

only pipes that go to carbs is the fuel line. You only need on for twin carbs, the feed as they dont have a return. It then links across to the other side.

PROBLEM..WHEN PUTTING THE MANIFOLD ON THERES A PART OF THE HEAD THAT STICKS OUT LIKE TRIANGULAR PIECE SO THE MANIFOLD WONT SIT FLUSH!!

WHAT DO I DO

sounds like uve got a mnifold for a diff nova engine if its non important grind it down slightly but be carful :D

GOT THE MANIFOLD ON NOW! BLOODY HELL WHAT A JOB!!

ATTACHING THE PIPES NOW. CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT PIPE GOES TO WHAT..CAUSE I THINK I NEED TO MAKE A FUEL RETURN PIPE AND MAY NEED A T PIECE

ALL IS CONNECTED APART FROM THE FUEL RETURN PIPE WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO HERE??

twin carbs dont need a return just bolck it off.

theyre twin dellortos. so do i need to run a piece of pipe from that value straight into the carbs

dont know what valve? your on about. From your fuel pump/ regulator it wants to go straight on the left hand side carb then split of an go to the other carb but thats all the pipes for the fueling.

its not a 1.4 but its the same idea

thanks phil...where do i get the alternator bracket to hold it secure in place. Ive fitted the lowering bracket but the old adjustable bracket is now too short

not sure where you can buy them from but i also made one up. Get two brackets cut the ends off then weld them together in order to make it longer.
