Firewall removal!

Right after reading a post in Gen Chat about weight reduction.

what i want to know is what happens to the parts that are fixed to the Firewall after you have removed it.thinks like the wiper motor is the main thing. i already have a single wiper but using the standard motor.

Most people leave a section of the firewall where the wiper motor is, but cut out the rest. You may be able to get another type of motor that can be mounted in a different point to the Vauxhall one, but it's probably easier just to leave a bit for the vaux motor.

a few folk have left that end of it in

others have made a custom bracket to hold the wiper motor

Cheers guys. was just thinking about it as theres a bit of welding coming up on the passenger inner wing so could get the angle grinder out and chop it while i'm at it and go from there.
