Is seem welding essential when dropping a 2ltr 16valve lump in a nova?

or see them all un-seam. Remember all novas are old now, so even IF a new shell cud cope with the weight and grunt, anything 10 years' old?? no way, man. For safety sake, as well as handling.

Novas are small cars designed for small engines, imagine sitting an elephant on a Mini, its totally erelavent to this issue, but yes, even if its only an 1400, if its gonna be used you need it welded up and properly.
