View Full Version : split folding seat bracket
i have just bought red sr split folding seats for the back and i havent got the bracket for the seats so im wondering if anyone has a picture of what it looks like? so i can make my own up
cheers greg
I have the blue SR seats in mine, and mine doesn't have the bracket, so half the seat is not secured, only the backs are secured.
And i am thinking this may fail MOT, as the seats aren't properly secured.
But im not sure.
Which aint really much help to you.
i was just gunna put them in without the bracket but im thinking everytime someone sits in the back they will just fall into the boot lol

Mine dont really move at all.
The back mounting point is enough to hold them.
ITs just when i fold the seats down
they fall everywhere
But i dont know what MOT man will say about them not being secured in the middle of the seats.
lol ad mine failed on that so i simple took them out beofore the retest

just goto scrappy with a chisel and knock the mount off an sr and fit it to yours
its just got 3 tacks along the top and the rests held in with the seatbelt bolt so it wont be difficult to remove or fit to your next car
