SRI GEARBOX ONTO 2.0 8V

Hi have just bought a 2ltr 8v engine outta cav sri for my 1.4 sri nova and have bin told taht my g/box may not fit and that i may have 2 buy a g/box outta corsa just wondered if any 1 had any more info regarding this that could help me out please guys

Tbh i don't really know, but i'd say it wouldn't because the 2.0's a big block and the 1.4's a small block. Why don't you just use the 2.0 8v g/box?

yeh whoever sold you the engine obviously had a gearbox at some point?

You will need to use a bug block gear box, poss from cav or astra SRI.

it can be done but you ay as well get F16 i cant imagine they go for much

the big block and small block boxes are the same size bell housing i believe.

You can make up a clutch to fit a 1.6 16v flywheel (i think) that lets you use an F13/15
