been thinking ov covering my boot install (when done) with the chequer plate stuff is it hard to do doe sit involve welding? any pics o rtips wopuild be great

You mean the metal stuff you can get? Shouldn't bee too hard, you could probably get away with using tin snips to cut the metal. Although it will be quite heavy...

Alternatively I'm sure you can get rolls of rubber/plastic matting in the same effect. Might be an easier option, and not so heavy. Would also double up as good soundproofing too...

Razors right , the plastic / rubber version of this stuff looks well cool , in fact I,ve been looking all over the place for the stuff to cover the parcel shelf with.....

My Footwell's and the boot floor is done in the plastic version of the chequer plate, it cost me 35 quid to do and you can get it from Cliffords in hove, they stock a load of stuff!
