I noticed this after fitting my 32/34, now my first thought was that when the car was idling so low because of a wrongly setup carb, something had rattled its way loose, but it keeps doing it

It happens when i lift the clutch and apply the throttle, someone told me it could be the clutch release bearing.

Would i have to have a whole knew clutch to get it sorted? Dont really want it to carry on id rather get it sorted so that i know its ok

Its the throttle part that sounds weird. :?
Does it do it when just releasing the clutch in neutral?
Or just the throttle on its own, not using the clutch?

And are you sure it aint just the pedal spring squeeky, i have this in mine, it squeeks in the position the clutch starts biting, so i thought it was a clutch problem, but its a squeeky spring

dunno Ad, it seems to do it when you press throttle on its own so it may be same as yours

I wanna stop it though its bloody annoying me!

Yeah it could be that, my old car used to do it when pulling off.
That would be the first thing i'd change
