Front Seats

Hey guys,

Will the subframes of a Mk2 GSi fit into a manky Mk1 Merit? Or will a load of modifications need to be made?

yes they'll fit i put GTE seats into my mk2 so i can't see why it would be a problem :wink:

yea, all seats bolt to the floor in the same place on nova's, only diff is the sporty seats only use two bolts at the front on each seat, due to the different sub frame, where as the standard one's have 4 bolts for each seat

iv been thinkin a putting different seats in mine but aint got the foggiest as to how to start wi sub frames n all how do ya do it any guides pics would be great for any seats.

I presume its just a case of getting a set of seats and welding them to the nova subframes?
