hi there ppl,
ive got a '96 1.4sri 16v corsa in black want a GSi now!
i brought this car as a project and i have spent over ?1000 on it in the last few months n hundreds b4 that.
spec as follows
ENGINE:
induction kit (unaware of make but 4 months old)
top end rebuild with at least ?600 worth of recipts (carryed out by barratts MG)
new cam belt & tensioners
head skimmed
All this done in july 05! done 800 miles since
a few other bits but cant think off the top of me head
BODYWORK:
lowered 60mm on gmax shox n springs (4 months old)
white multi spoke "15 alloys (only if full asking price is met if not standard sri alloys)
custom 4" jap urban exhaust made by speedshack (4 months old)
bee sting arial
few other little bits
INTERIOR:
standard SRi seats but nice looking
sparco gear knob
chequer plate flooring (just needs bolting in as not in car yet)
JVC cd player with pioneer TSE front speakers (2 weeks old cost ?80)
sony 6x9's
GOOD POINTS:
very very nippy as rebuild brought back all the lost ponnies
no running problems
starts first time
clean interior apart 4 a small wear on drivers bottom bolster
handles exellent
BAD POINTS:
small amount of rust on drivers door but nothing that cant b sorted
paint work is not brilliant lots of stone chips n paint flaking off the mirrors.
a small dent in the drivers wing but i do have a new wing just aint got the time 2 fit it.
apart from that the car has a lot of potential i was goin to drop a 2.0l 16v in but cant afford the cost of the conversion and paint work. so its a half done project.
?1450 ONO or will swap for a gsi nova/corsa of the same value
