Here's the new project then :D

Picked it up yesterday. Plans include a Harry Hockley plating kit, sand blasting of entre engine bay. This will highlight any rust (not that there looks like much in the 1st place). Stich welding of the entire car and a lovely custom cages weld-in cage, I'll post the diagram of that up in a moment. Then it will be a full respray probably in white or red.

After that the XE will be dropped in along with my existing stuff that can be swapped over, like Coil-overs polybushes, rear discs etc.

Looks like a mint cage! Should be sweet!

Best mod I ever did was stitch welding the shell. Made a huge difference!!!

Not brought it yet! Waiting to sell my escort and 1.3SR then we should have the funds for it! :D

My black one is seam welded down the exhaust tunnel and is pritty damn stiff. Lifts rear wheels under heavy braking and cornering!

lol. I could do with BA wielding the gas axe ;)

Have you fitted them yet?

P.s use the filters that I sent as a last resort. They are VERY restrictive

Yeah they are not too bad at all. They have been rolled really badly, not that you can notice it on the outside, but when you run your fingers a long where the the lip is they have started to rust. But still really solid.

It is Mint on the rear pannel under the bumper, I think it might have been replaced but looks professional. Also mint under the headlamps, slam pannel inner wings. Infact all of it is really really good!

The only real problem is that some chav has tried to smooth the scuttle pannel with body filler and has done an awfull job. I should imagine it will come off without too much fuss :D
