what do you think of a 16SH engine from opel kadett/astra, with a 1.3 sr head fully workes whit a full kent kit with balanced material :P, and double weber 40, the cam is a ast2k, i think this is the code for it.

head is resctricting power. either have larger valves fitted to the 1.3 head OR have the 1.6 head slightly worked

or even better, fit a 16SE head ;)

ive got a 16SV with a 1.4 head with piper cams, and it goes like shit off a shining shovel!!!

isnt the 16SH a big block 1600?

16SV is the later small block 1600 motor

the 16SH is small its comes from a kadett.

don't forget the cavalier is called the Vectra on the continent i believe.

is a Kadette a kadette or an astra over here?

the 16SV has the same compression ratio to the 16SE the difference is that the SE is Injection and the SV is carb'd, i aint sure wot my lump is out of but its a good clean engine, and with the 1.4 cylinder head and piper cams it goes like stink

cams is a plural hence 2 or more,

an 8V only has one cam, so you have a piper cam.

'cams' is plural, so means you have more than 1, e.g 2
'cam' just means 1

Thats why he thought it was the DOHC 16v engine :wink:

so ok yes it is a piper cam 270, considerin as on the box says 'piper cams' wen it had 1 camshaft in it

the kadeet is kadett until the astra apeared. and the 1.6sv is 82 hp and the 1.6sh is 90
