i think you need a new front panel.

as theres one for a petrol and one for a diesel

the derv one is different certainly but its prolly just like that for access to the turbo etc?

you will need to find a diesel nova in the scrappy and take its fuel tank and lines, possibly also the wiring loom as im sure derv looms are quire a bit different to petrol ones

you will also need to cut off the osf engine mounting and weld one on from a diesel nova, then fabricate your own mounting bracket

u can prolly use the astra box but since its a big block you'll need to do the same as fitting a valver by using 22spline TD shafts and getting cav mk2 inner cv's

Cheers for that.

Basicially then would it be alot easyier to buy a nova 1.5 turbo diesel an start from there.

I take it the 1.5TD novas use smaller drive shafts?

If so would i be able to use the 1.5TD nova box an shafts?

Hmmm, he wants to put ina 1.7TD.
He asked if it would be easier to BUY a diesel nova, and then put the 1.7TD in place of the 1.5TD.
So diesel engine in place of diesel engine, so mounts should be the same?

Or am i confused?
Someone on NL did this before, and made quite a decent engine, with DV,intercooler etc.
