rattling engine

ive got a ratteling coming from the head sounds like its the cam as it speeds up with the revs. is that bad :( :cry: :x

When did you last check your oil level or have an oil change?

its got plenty of oil in it and has had it for a while isnt it the lifters or sumin?

this happened to me, my cam was woren away badly but the rattling was the tappets.

i have a full brand new set if you want them ? also hav a cam and the 8 lifters too, pm me

last time i heard that noise about 15mins later the engine spat 2 conrods out the front of the block

5 min after hearing the noise i was on the hard shoulder with a big hole in my block :wink: you all know the pic lol

ye i know that one, it happened to me along dual carriage way, had a big hole in the back of the block
