quickshift help

bought a quickshift from rally design and was just wondering what everyone else has done about the little plastic bits that clip onto the actual quickshift as there really hard to get off the old linkage without damaging them

a friend of mine stuck his in a bucket of boiling water to soften them up a bit, and then put em on the new one while they were still hot so they cooled and tightened back up on the new linkage.

These cup joints arent supposed to be removed and refitted in an ideal world, they should be replaced, but i believe vauxhall dont supply them anymore :cry:

ok cheers i will give it a try. your right, vauxhall only sell the complete linkage now

hey when ya get her in and workin could ya tell me what its like. considerin one myself. lookin a good or bad report
