Do the front springs get narrower towards the bottom or are they the wrong springs?

yes they do, they should home in nice and snug in a lip on the bottom of the strut.

Bargain got meself a set of brand new shock and springs inc. bump stops for ?54.99. From halfords.... :D

?10 Off when you spend over ?50 voucher, they were up at ?64.99...

They were in the reduced to clear section, my mate was buying springs for his saxo, i noticed them too and then noticed priced to clear stickers, and see Nova on the side.

They also had a Spax adjustable kit, for ?74.99 but it was a pug 206 1.4HDi 98>
