F18 or F20 Gearbox

What is the difference between the F18 & F20 gearbox.

I am picking up a C20XE engine next week with a F18 long ratio gearbox but what is the difference bwetween this and the F20 and which do you think is better?

Think youll find its an F16 mate, im pretty sure the F18 goes on the 2.0 ecosmegs.

If its an F16CR, your laughing because its a close ratio box and should be fine on a standard XE, but if your planning on going above 180bhp, id start thinking about an F20.

the f18 is the diesel cav box and the f16 came in the cav sri's. The F18 is long ratio and the F16 is close where as the F20 is inbetween. Thats what im lead to believe anyway.
