paper half of provisional :S

today my new driving instructor asked for the paper half of my provisional licence, the thing is i cant ever rember having a paper half just the card will i have to send away for a full new provisional??

the card was stuck to the paper bit

The 'counterpart'? It's still makes up part of the license!

it makes up part of the licence and shows what categories you can drive (i know the card says this as well) but the counterpart shows if you have any points and things like that as well.

a replacement is as kev says about 20 notes or so. you cant just get the counterpart you need to get the whole lot including posting your card back as well...... unless you say you lost that ;)
