yes because you'll change the fuel requirements so much the original management wont have a clue whats happening

on tb's do you use the same injectors or bigger one?

depends on what power it makes; i dont know the limits of the std injectors.. they'd tell ya when u do ur mappin session. leave std ones in for now..

actually thats a bad idea because generally the very top end is mapped near the end of the session so if youve been mapping away for hours then find out that uve hit 100% duty and still need more fuel your a bit fucked

u can make a guess of the injector spec tho

150-180bhp i'd be using C20xe creams

180+bhp might require LET yellows or creams with higher fuel pressure

I was speaking to a guy last weekend that has a 1600 16v on tb's, and i was expecting him to have cream injectors out of the 20xe!! But he was using these blue ones, that im not sure what car they came from and neither did he!! To be honist if your getting the stuff from sbd ask them!! They know there stuff, but dont buy injectors etc from them as the cost the earth!

blues are from later c20xe's that run dispak

slightly less flow i think but nothing to worry about

Blues are ideal for up to 170 bhp and prove to be more efficient.. creams are used for anything over this, up to 190 bhp, then LET (or equiv) are needed....

Blues fetch good money on ebay etc, cos they are reasonably rare, I sold my old ones for ?70. Just find a DISPAC XE (92/93) and swap them for a set of creams...

if you map the top end of the map at end of session then your man is an idiot.

injectors- it all depends on fuel pressure, as you can rescale the map for different flow rates and injectors but you'll prob be locked out of such functions unless you do it on a regular basis and have the workarounds

it took me all of about half an hour with teh internet before i had the password for the advanced panel :p

and yes the bloke we used was an idiot and he mapped the top end at the end of the session

Think carb's are possible on std management, just need to put resitors in place of the ICV, injectors and egr.
You'd also need to work out how to link the TPS on to the carbs so the ign adv would be correct.

Work a go could be done in theory for very little, and offer similar gains to TB's
