I know this might sound absolutely ridulous but you know all these new cars are being installed with the paddleshift gears well would it be possible to put one into a nova?? just a complete random question but you know....
would it be difficult to.
hmmm VW dsg setup in a nova, its possible but would cost a bomb and gain you bugger all in fairness.

it would be cool though to have a paddleshift gear in a NOVA!

it is physically possible yes, in the same way its possible to fit a cossie engine longitudinally in the bay with a B&W T5 and RWD running gear
but just like the cossie engine i doubt its really somthing your really going to be able to achieve...
 have a look round one of the scrappies for a crashed DB7 and sling it in and see

if you had a siquencial gear box then you could use a trans logic shifter, but again that would mean putting an engine in that is compatible with a siqencial box oh and the trans logic systems are between ?600 - ?1000
so if youve got a lot of money then you could do it
which is a good point can u buy a siquencial box for a GSI or a C20XE etc
there was a cav ex-touring car on ebay with an XE running sequential shift.
So it may be possible, but i wouldn't even like to think how much the g'box costs
