1.2 to 1.6 conversion

hey guys this has most likely been asked so many times b4 but the search on here doesnt work so please could someone tell me thing i need to do the conversion ie do i need new driveshafts a new gear box wear i have to weld for strength do i need to uprate the fuel pump also change the gear linkage as its 4 speed atm also roughly how long will it take to do thanks

If you've currently got a 4speed, then obviously its gonna be better to have the 5speed 1.6 box, so you really want to get everything, engine/box/loom/shafts

You dont have to weld the bay for a 1.6 conversion, unless you're going to be running big power...

mind the ecu, need the mpi fuel pump(1.6 tank) to give enough fuel pressure, shouldnt take long if you know what your doing, shaft everything out, bung it in, plumb it up and your off, but when the engines out, take a look at everything about, engine mounts etc....
