The car is still in the spray booth, i've spent the last few days covering it in guide dust and flatting the whole thing down. It's about 75% done i just need to finishing prepping the bumpers and door handles. I intend to spray it tonight so look out for more pics in this thread tomorrow as i'll post up the rebuild.

Also through the week i picked up a couple of new cars for absolutly peanuts!

First up a late XE Cav; i may use the engine out of this although the whole car is pretty mint and is worth alot more than i paid for it:

And secondly a Corrado. I'm going to strip this down next week i see how bad the damage is before i decide whether to repair it or break it. If i break it the engine will go in the Golf, but i'd rather have this up and running!

:o poor Corrado! i love them,i have a few mates who drive them,ones a 2.0 16v bit limp and the others a vr6 very nicely done as well..
get it back to it former glory if you can?

As for the nova progress very nice mate,carnt wait to see it up and finished.

Get the windows pulled out of the front doors!!! Why paint the bottom half when it wont cost any extra to paint the entire door?

Love the corrado - rebuild it!

Looks like it needs a fair bit though - thats a hefty imapct
