GSi Door lock playing up

Hi,

Came home from work today, locked the car up as per usual. Went to get some fuel & the door woulde'nt open until I opened the window and locked / un locked it again. Same thing happens over & over again. I've had a look at the inside of the lock taken it out but cant find anything obvious wrong with it......lol.

Anyone else had this issue with a central locking Nova?

Any help would be appreciated, as I was going to put the car up for sale this weekend, but I won't until I get this sorted.

Try gunking a load of wd40 in the lock (with the straw thing, so it goes right inside) ive had sticky locks before an it sounds like this could jus be the problem!!!

You got it mate, it was nothing more than a sticky lock..... must have been all this warm weather we've been having - I got it sorted yesterday.
