protective rubber ??

As the motor now has door speakers Ive used the protective grommets to ensure the cable doesnt rub on the door edges but the speaker cable remains showing...therefore is it possible to obtain a rubber boot to totally sheath the cable as it runs from the main car body and thru to the door ?? Has anyone anyone mods , or shall I enclosed the lot in pvc tape ??

you could use plastic sleaving or shrink wrap or you could even pinch a rubber bit of another car.

just an idea no idea if it would work but the air hoses on fish tanks te clear stuff would that work thin flexible just a thought?

Yep, I nabbed a gaitor from a fiesta tailgate for my central locking - it has two rubber grommets each end with a length of flexible trunking in the middle which is just the right length and small enough to fit when the door is shut.
