i crashed my first car 2 weeks after passing me test due to not paying attention to the road, luckily no-one was hurt

atleast thats one thing i can take from the experience, you just dont relize how bad of a driver you are when u pass,

by passing u have reached the MINIMUM standard to drive a car.

Insurance company are gonna just write it off and give me money - if i was tpft i would of been able to keep the car for spairs but im getting money because of full comp

why claim in the first place, they will give you about 150 quid and put your insurance up by about 300? novas arnt worth claiming for unless you have an agreed pay out price before hand (managed to get a 5k agreement out of mine, thats why i drive it like i stole it!)

I'd be suprised if you get any insurance company to insure ya on any car for less than 1500 maybe even 2k now.

^ not in the eyes of insurance. If you hit someone its your fault; although you could try to sue them for being parked illegally they can just come back with "well you should have been driving in control" or suchlike.... its harsh but thats how it goes :(

TBH We are all guilty of doing silly things, you have to push the car to find out how it handles ect ect but dont be a d-i-c-k and do it on the public road!!! Youve could have killed someone!!

Find a nice open space (old airfield like i did) and go have fun :wink:

maybe not that time, but if you'd also have been doing 30mph u wouldn't have done either, nova brakes aren't great but at 30 mph mine stop on a pin head.

if ya ask me it's nice that some justice does happen in the world, i mean nobber driver smashed into nobber parker.
