easy peasey. The best mod for any car, let alone nova is lowering. U can have all the power, body kits, flip paint etc etc in the world.. but without a 60mm drop, it all looks a bit pants really.

Sorted, so mine dont look Pants then!

top ten hey, heres mine.

1. Lowering (40-60mm)
2. Alloys - anything bigger than 15" is just wrong!
3. Digi Dash - got to be done!
4. Colour coding - although depends on the colour on how much you do.
5. Performance Exhaust - none of this Peco BB4 Shit please!
6. Strip the interoir
7. Remove the sound deaderning
8. Find a LET or XE lump.
9. Roll Cage or strut Braces
10. Bigger Brakes and uprated Brakelines.

those are my top ten, although some of those i havnt done but will do sometime soon!

10. Bigger Brakes and uprated Brakelines.

for me thats number 1 followed closely by suspension and decent TYRES

8. Find a LET or XE lump.

i'd replace that with fit a decent engine, dont neccesarily have to be an XE, bruces GTE or dan/jims gte motors are all perfectly sound engines and all 3 would give a stock xe a run for its money

6. Strip the interoir
7. Remove the sound deaderning

that depends on use of the car, i couldnt drive a stripped out car as an every day motor

1. alarm and other security
2. Roll the arches
3. lower at least 60mm
4. some nice alloys - not too big - not too small 15" or 16"
5. sort the engine out.
6. full competion exhaust
7. brand new headlights, tail lights mirrors etc. new always look best.
8. tidy up the interior. stearing wheel etc.
9. a nice stereo
10. a respray if the paints a bit shabby

Fair play fella.

those would be my ten.... and yeh, a decent engine, you dont even have to go 16V either. as for the strip out, that would also depend on 5.! i couldnt drive one every day with something like my old 142db back box! thats would do my head in!

so whats your top ten?

Strip the shell bare and underseal every inch, its the only one worth doing.

Chris14SR

1 - cut springs (so much cheaper than a silly lowering kit)
2 - sun strip (as long as possible)
3 - max power stickers
4 - exhaust tip
5 - neon washer jets
6 - under car neons
7 - subaru wrc spoiler
8 - mitsubishi evo spoiler
9 - ford cosworth spoiler
10 - all of the above.

Well someone had to do it? ;)

A money no object Nova Mod??

For me it would have to be a Supercharged Ferrari V6 engine Mid mounted going through a 4wd transmission on a tubular chassis with a fiberglass Nova shaped body.

1st, Make it mint, i like the whole undersealing idea, Has to be done
2nd, A real good spray job, followed by loads of polishing.
3rd, Proper suspension set up
4th, Alloys with good tryes
5th, Brakes, need good Brakes
6th, Style it to your own taste, ee, no colour coding for me.
7th, interior mods, what ever you fancy
8th, ICE
9th, Engine and tuning
10th, tatsy bird in the Passenger seat, And, not a chicken or anything eadible.

P.S. I LOVE that Black STD looking Nova, would suit black steels better though. The ultimate Sleeper. :D

Would make it very light at the front, hairy steering up hills.

Fit a Manta 400 Set up instead. Would suit better.
