My local dealer quoted me ?200 for a door skin + ?200 for a door a year or so ago.... My reply was somewhat along the lines of "you realise I could buy a complete nova with two rust free doors for less than that?!?" :lol:

A door as far as a car is concerned is a panel with a window in it which opens in order to gain access to the interior of the vehicle. An opening panel without a window is not classed as a door, hence three-door hatch and two-door saloon as fars as nova's go.

At least thats the explaination in my old nvq2 motor vehicle coursework.

Edit: if in the case of a van an opening panel which is designed to take a window if specified but just has a metal panel in this is still classed as a door.

Some places in England wont send over stuff, cant remember what you call them, but they're popular with the lads on here for Styling stuff, they do a flush Blanking panel. They wont send anything across the water.

just one door??? some how i managed to pick up not 1 but 2 delocked doors with no rust and just a small scuff on the paint work for, check this price out....?0! :D

Got a lad to fibreglass mould a set of wings, so i'll see how it goes. He says he'll not cahage too much for the first set, so i'm sure with a bit of mesing with, they'll be grand.
