My rear, offside arch is abit rusted, tried everything, but its only delaying the enevitable it seems.

Soon, I am having my car re-painted, so my question is:

Can you replace the rear arches somehow on a Nova? The front sidepanels are easy enough, but, I see no possible way of removing and replacing the rear ones...
I don't want to have my car fully re-sprayed to find that this arch just falls apart on me not long after. And (if its even possible) I have to replace the arch, and have it re-sprayed again.

So, is there anything I can do? (without buying another nova!)

you will need to weld in new archs like mine on my peugeot but they were harder than the nova

The oustide lip is rusting too...any way I can sort that?

Thanks for the reply though, appreciated!

you can buy a repair panel, which is just like the outside lip, or you can buy a whole rear quarter panel.

it may be worth doing the rear quarter panel, as then at least it's something that will stay rust free for a while

i've bought a replacement rear arch but i'm thinking of getting a rear quarter, rear arch panels aren't expensive either

If you can afford the full quarter panel go for it, I've only used repair sections before and they take some work to line up and get smooth again.
