wheels rubbing on gearbox

another problem........ just fitted c20xe in my nova, its running fine but when i corner hard/ sharp my wheel rubs on the gear box. has anyone else had this problem? maybe some spacers on the wheels?? HELP!!

the engine and gearbox came straight out of a calibra, the wheels are 16in 195's

The wheels rubbed on my 16v Nova, only when on full lock though.
If its only rubbing on full lock then i wouldn't worry about it !!

yes, when your manouvering the car, but No when your cornering....shouldn't be anywhere near full lock...

the big silver scratch on my inner rim confirms that mine does it as well :lol:
