I would like to know, as it struggles to get past 4000 in fith, about 90 on the clock. Where are the codes on the box? pics would be helpfull. If it helps 5000 revs in fourth shows as 110mph!

it doesn'tmatter if its F10 or F13.

What matters is if its got a Cr cluster in or a Wr. and what final drive has it got?

It does 55 in second, 85 in third, so I reckon its an F10/5W with 3.94, though the only markings on the case are F10 and the part no.s

if you check on the end of the gearbox by the earth strap it should have a letter and 3 numbers stamped. i.e. W394

You may have to clean the grease off a bit to see it.

Thanks for the pic Kev, helped a lot in locating the code. Turns out I've got an F10/5W with 4.18- completely wrong for a 14SR.

Oh well, that means the gearbox was also changed when someone decided to put a 13SB in her. Would also explain the awkwardness of the gearchange, Think I'm gonna have to rip the whole lot out.

i had a wr (factory optional on a 1.2 e plate).... fitted it on my 1.4sr... had to use 4th on anything but a flat road... but was good for economy... and wouldn't rev out in 5th so no danger of any damage... my current f13cr can be reved to the limiter in 5th :(
