help with modding a 1.4 sr engine

i am wanting to modd my 1.4sr engine later this year, my plan is to strip the engine and rebuild it, i would like to put a kent cam in but which one?
i would also like to renew the pistons and rings which ones are the best to for this engine remember it's an every day car. please let me know whats the best thing to do to a 1.4sr engine.

cam should be chosen to reflect driving style and type and inlet and exhaust system

how do u know the pistons need changed? u might get away with a hone and new rings unless its smoking just now

it also depends how much money u want to spend and what u want to achieve
