1200spi custom induction kit

Right, i have nicked the spi box off my astra, its the one that fits over the TB unit, just like a round box.
I have mananged to find some parts around my house to make a pipe.
So i now have the spi box and its pipe connected to a piece of rubber pipe.

And this then connected to the K&N i swapped for a pint of stella :wink: :lol:

The astra box has the breather hose connection in a different place to my current pancake box, and it has two thin tubes, one of these i can't use with the induction cone as it should connect to the hot air tube thing on the old box. So what should i do with it? Just plug the end of the tube?

And should i just block the hole in the box for the breather pipe and leave the breather from the engine pointing down towards the floor?

Or another way could be to rob the rocker cover off the astra as that has a breather hose connection on it, whereas my current one doesn't.

extend the breather using some extra pipe

the vac hoses just block them ALL off at the TB to ensure no airleaks, they arent needed (i find melting the hose and clambing it with pliers works

Done this today.

Blocked off the vac tubes, and extended the breather.
All is fine, and it sounds nice.
The sound covers up the bottom end knocking :lol:
