Gearbox weight

How much heavier is the 6 speed F28 box compared to a 5 speed F20? Just approximate weights will do. It's in relation to a question on a local *cough* cruise *cough* forum.

2wd converted f28 is about 9kgs heavier than a f20

the box itself has very similar gearing but a shorter final drive so you'll end up with better 1st-5th accelleration than an F20 and the benefits of 6th on top
