* Urgent * front bumper mounting

Right lads need some quick advice.

Should I fix the rubber orginal mounting points into my plastic front bumper with

1) Extra strong evo stick no nails

or should I

2) Fibre glass them in.

I'd normally say Fibreglass... however the no nails may allow the rubber mounts to retain a slight amount of flexibility if you want that...

where are they then? Dont recall seeing rubber mounts on my mk2 bumper - or is it a mk1 you have?

If theyre rubber then Id build a fibreglass housing the then coz you'll have probe getting no more nails etc to stick to rubber.

If it is rubber...

Just one point - no-nails goes soft when exposed to water!!

I meant the plastic jobby from a mk1.

Have decided to use both.

Got some waterproof evo stick nail and seal and have also started fibre glassing the buggers in.

Will post some pics soon
