Fuel sender problem

My sender is reading backwards at present. Ive tried this on a pod gauge and on my normal dash gauge and i cant get a proper readout.
My thoughts are its faulty.
question is what cars can i get a fuel sender from for a nova gte/gsi tank?
did the sri also carry the same one?

and does anybody have one?????????????
