1.2i modifying

I've heard a rumour that a 1.4i single point injection unit will fit onto a 1.2i to give a little better bhp - can anyone here confirm this will fit?

Got the bits lying about so hopefully be a cheap fix.

yes it will fit. You may need to change some of the ancillaries (unsure ref this) but the basic fuel tank, sender, lines etc will all be the same.

Just a straight swap. You may want to upgrade the exhaust too whilst youre at it.

The 1400 TB is identical to the 1200 TB, in size etc.
So no power gain.
The injector is bigger tho.

But its good to use if yours is knackered, as a replacement.
It will all plug straight in.


The inlet and exhaust manifolds are the same as well.
So no power increase unfourtunately.
