There was a local rally stage at our local park once again this year, however for the first time in two years they invited car clubs to display, and keep the family's entertained!

Concidering there was less than 50 display car's, it was good to see that 4 of them were Nova's, all of a good standard. However one got bored and wandered off before we could grab him for a photoshoot (beaney off here)

So here are the remaining 3!

Love the old School Yellow Irmischer badge, anyone know where to gat one? :?:

Did you follow the Rally lads? The top 19 were all 4WD's and the rest were above the top 25 were serious bits of kits, the car i was ment to co piolet in was a last minute entry and not even seeded, he came 12th over all and its his first Rally in god knows how many years. It was onle a 1600 MK2 Escort as well, Gortlee Tool Hire all over it. Great result.

Ade, being a huge Ford fan i can tell you that most of the orrible mk5 Escorts and Orions came in this colour, its nothing special, dont even think its metallic, but i reckon i can get you a paint sode during the week though.

Great day out in the nova for a change, nice to see the interest in novas picking up again, there was hardly any on the road for the past few years, more like hidden away in the dark garages getting modified here there and everywhere

I know of at least 5 novas in development at the minute in NI ready to bloom soon and I am sure Keith knows a few also

SO watch out guys we may take over soon lolol :lol: :lol:

@ade

Rear Bumper:-

Just a wee word of warning mate it was an absolute nightmare to fit, we had to add bolt stubs to the rear of the bumper for the bumper bracket as the wings were not strong enough to keep the bumper in line, we also added additional support to the bumper wings to allow them to be bolted and ajustable rather than screw fixed, I think at the time it cost about ?250 for the bumper and it was an ill fitting shell, I should of known from my experiences with the front bumper and side skirts glutten for punishment, and yes that is a fezz recess formed from FG also all and all it took about 3 weeks work for the rear bumper alone.

But i do like the finished product, you may notice that the shape is based on the vectra rear bumper just missing the black infill section never noticed it myself untill someone pointed it out to me

Ade just a few things to consider before buying one

@ade

the colour i have believe it or not is smoke grey GM140 with a blue mica pearl in the laquer to give it a bit of a blue flip effect, bugger to match and to make it a bit different

Yeah, the guy pretty much completely copied my car, all the little touches that used to set mine apart. Thats why i went for the Mirrors and headlight washers. It has a new owner now tho, and the old owner is building another.
