ive got a problem my car starts and runs great but the engine just cuts out when u slow it down it dies at 1500 or 1000 i dunno if its suckin air from sum were or its my fuel pump or the timing is set incorrect sum 1 help me please

Does it do it if you put the clutch down?
when you say sucking air from somewhere - have you heard this
if so check that the servo hose from the inlet manifold to the brake servo is in good condition and not leaking

yeah it does it when i put the clutch in, its been a pain in the arse lol im thinkin of puttin another engine in

i had the exact same problem when i had my nova. What happened was the pierberg 2e carb that comes on em gets shitty and clogged up easily. i just got a second had reconditioned carb from a used parts store and swapped em over. This def fixed the problem and for the sake of 20 quid was easy cause it was only three bolts and a few hoses. This may not fix your problem but its worth a try. i would get the timing set up correctly by a garage after replacing the carb because the fuel/air mixture needs to be right or it will be rough and sound crap.
