Hi guys,
I'm currently in a stale mate - do i mod my Nova to the max (not power!)? Or keep it sweet and original? It's a 1.2 is it worth fannying about with it too much? But it is my first car so why not, but I don't want to seem like a chav etc etc etc.......
Here's a few pics of my Nova;

Haven't done much to it at all really - wasn't sure about the bumper though!
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated though :!:
Cheers guys!
Jim
ut looks a very clean car for a c-reg, as for the bumper i presume you mean the front one?, iff so they are getting quite rare and i think they can look good, i also think you should go for the subtle look, 15inch wheels and lowered suspension.
but check with your insurance first
love it mate reminds me off my first nova keep it like that nice and sweet or go for the gte look, also agree with mike nice 15's and dropped :D then when the time comes and can afford insurance on a 1.6 gte or gsi drop it in there :D
check benjis car very similar and looks very sweet

So you don't think I should fit a bodykit to it, ie, Abyss skirts with novadose front/rear bumpers?
What about a GSi spoiler?
For a GTE engine to be fitted, does the engine bay need to be seam welded/strengthened or is that just for the 2.0ltr plunge!?
Thanks guys - you dont rate standard Nova GSi rims do you? :)
Jim
na no body kit mate standard stuff! erm would go for a sr spoiler its the wrap around spoiler i think :? na can just drop the engine straight in with out any problems maybe a strute base but thats all :D
NO!!!!
leave it as it is!
If yer gonna do anything - lower it - a little - and fit a nice set of anthracite or silver alloys - leave the body kits out of it...
You could get window surrounds from a GSi/GTE o define the window edges a bit more - easy to fit...buggers to get hold of undamaged ones though.
Engines wise you could stick a GTE in it. Otherr than that for a C reg I'd leave it alone.

What does that matter? it's your car dude don't worry so much about what ppl think
personally i'd o for th gsi/gte wheels if your not going to change the bumpers etc or kit it out and get some other alloys
does look mint though nice one

Drop it 60mm, springs are about ?60, then get a nice set of 16" speedlines or softstars and it will look ace oh and give it a good polish to!

i like the bumper thats fitted.
fit some oldskool style alloys (gte/gsi maybe mk2 astra gte wheels) and drop it 60 mm tint the windows and then u have a retro racer
as for engines fit a gte gsi as said above hope this helps and if it doesnt then blame the gnomes that control my twisted little mind

Lower it a bit and whack some sort of alloys on it.
Maybe some proper vaux alloys from a newish corsa or astra.
I wouldnt recommend putting lowered springs on it with your original shocks as they're probably real ropey. Would be better to save up just over 200 notes and get a full kit.

Well i reckon that nova would look right at home on some black cav gsi rims and a 60mm lowering kit a gsi engine and a ashley exhaust system and nothing else. Or alternitly(sp) u want to sell it? Will make a great track day nova project. :D

Thanks for all the comments guys!
For a Mk1 would 16" rims fit w/o any arch modifications? Or would i need to have some mega work done to arches?
Thanks guys!
Jim
lol dont even dare put a bodykit on that :o how clean is that from them photos
i thinl it would look ace with a set of sr alloys and a mk1 sr interior and lowered about 40mm
as for engine a nice 1.3/1.4 sr would be ideal specially with twin webbers

16" speedlines or softstars = No arch mods even when dropped 60mm
