Some pics to prove it does get driven!!

Hi everyone

Some of you may know my car from various shows. It normally looks like this:

A lot of people always question if it ever gets driven. Thought I would post up some evidence to prove it does!! Recently taken it to both Elvington and Cadwell Park with Javelin Trackdays. Both were cracking days out. Here are some pics.

It's a mk2..but a damn stunning one at that.

I do remember seeing this before, and those parts are spotless!

its got a protective film on it to protect paint.

its also (iirc) a heavily modded 1.6 engine. heavily chromed - even the suspension bolts are polished!

Stunning motor and well worth seeing in the flesh!

Yep it is a plastic film on the car to protect the paint - black cars and stones don't go well together! A friend gets it for me. It is orginally put on the wings of planes so they can walk on them while working on the planes.

Nope as Ade said just the standard 1.6 with a bucket full of chrome - doesn't seem to slow it down too much though!!

It's not my dad it's my boyfriends dad!! We do organise club days so if you were interested in your own track day and there was enough interest and sure something could be arranged. Would be nice to meet some of you in the flesh!
