roll cage

ok i have given up trying to find rear seat covers, iv decided to whip the rear seats out n wack in a roll cage, but as usual i know nothing about them.
i was talking to a mate last night about it n he said if i made my own it would have to pass sume tets or something?!?! to be legal? wats that about?, is there an easyer way to do this, can you buy them ready made from any where?, iv tryed the super novas link at the top of this page and it doesnt work!?!

well it would be nice for it to serve a perpus, but wich would be the cheaper option?, some one said sparco do em?? and what are the differences in prices between the two?
