As some of you may know. When I go to a trackday I ususally have a fair few people with cars with me. Theres probably about ten of us now.

Anyway one of the guys had a mini, bless it. The plan was to put a 1.6 8v Vauxhall engine in it. But then this came along. We need to do some work to it so that its ready for the track. But sinces its heart is a 2.0 8v Vauxhall lump. I thought I would share it with you.

For anyone whos wondering, yes it is rapid! (Not as fast as my Nova.... Phew!!) and yes it still handles very well (From first test drives).

I really like it.

Thats a beast. Nowt wrong with a mini, aslong as it is packing power  Is it a standard 2.0 8 valve and which one is it the Seh or Ne?

I drove it about 20mins ago. Its really nice. Nothing like a normal mini.
However the breaks seriously need upgrading.

The engine is standard as far as I know, I haven't got a clue as to which one. Its currently on its way to Castle Combe. Hopefully if it goes quite tommrow we will put it on the track for a test run

Dan the guy who's got the BMW has bought another car but hasn't told me what it is yet. Apparently its sporting about 360bhp/ton :o

If its as nice as he says I will get some piccys up of that one as well.

Thanks for the kind comments about the mini :+:
