Well its getting ever closer now to being driven thank lord!
Had to buy some finishing bits over this week. Still a few bits to get but nothing much now. heres some pics of the new bits.

Firstly was brake pads. After hearing a few bad things about hte EBC stuff i ended up going for the ferodo pads.

One helemt for upcoming track days. just a nice budget one that is currently vat free from tweeks!

And one hammock to hold the helmet and any other shopping from tescos.

So coming together now. not much more needed. brake system is all bled and up and running. just a case of slamming on the new discs and pads and ill insure it then. :)

Got the brakes fitted today. All looking good now.
Had to have the stud holes jus topend up a few mm as they were to tight.
Luckily 1 street away a mate of mine sorted it.
So now i just need to insure it . But some stupid company took a huge direct debit out of my account which they shouldnt have. And now i have to wait for it to be re credited which was supposedly today. but its not in there. So ive had to make a rather temperd phone call!. it wont be ready for this weekend. But i should have my first maiden voyage in it next week!!! *whooppie fucking doooo*

Thanks to all the peeps who have helped and given me ideas. Big up to the boys at rifle range also :)

There Fiat Coupe 2.0 16v discs. there 284mm i beleive.
JUst have to get the holes drilled out by a few mm to make em fit nice.
Worst part is the pads cost more than the fecking discs. :P

you wont be doing castle coombe then, they wont allow slicks.

most tracks have banned them acctually, unless you have a motorsport licence or something, may just be for open days or something tho, but i know that castle coombe said a definate NO when i wanted to use mine

Whe you say "mine" Matt, do you mean the ones i bought of you?? Thought semi-slicks (ie road legal slicks) were ok to use :?

benji
