short drill bit, dont hit fuel lines or exhaust. You will need bolts/machine screws with big washers either side of the "tunnel" holes.

Yeah, or get under it and use bolts and nuts. Or go to your local hardware shop and buy a few 30mm teckscrews, no need for drilling!!

are there fuel lines that run under it then?

could i just drill the holes then just find a screw to fit them? like so the screw just threads on to the tunnel.

if not then i'll try some of those teckscrews.

cheers guys, lew

youd need some baaaad ass self tapper to get any strength from "screwing" into the tunnel steel, get some M6ish bolts (or machine screws), drill a 6.5mm hole, washer on both sides and bolt it up. simple.

I still say inch teckscrews, they bore the holes them selves and have a special rubber/ metal washer on it to tighten to a t. they're only a few pence each, a lot handier mate
